One thing I have never had any success with is managing to set up an SRAM Front Derailleur. Be that the X-3 of the Skyhawk, or the X-7 of the Goblin. Hours of adjustments, step by step guides on YouTube and I just can't seem to ever get them shifting right.
I've found Shimano derailleurs, however, can be set up in minutes and without hassle, so the search was on to ditch the SRAM and replace with a solid Shimano derailleur.
A quick eBay search brought up this gem, a few bids and I was pleased to say I won the bidding for $19 + $6 shipping.
mtbr reviews seem particularly positive so I'm excited to receive it. I'll report back on fitting & set up once it arrives.
